Mitchells Run is a residential neighbourhood located in Doreen in Melbourne's northern growth corridor. The development has a unique character drawn from remnant River Red Gums, the local topography, waterways, and views of the Great Dividing Range.

The layout of Mitchells Run complements Whittlesea City Council's strategic planning objectives for the area by offering a mixture of lot sizes and types, and by integrating seamlessly with adjoining developments. Mitchells Run is a 500 lot development featuring fully integrated parks and open space and also boasts best practice environmental, engineering and urban design outcomes.

Significant planning and servicing issues were overcome during the early phase of Mitchells Run. The techniques used to overcome these issues resulted in the Whittlesea Council subsequently labelling DACLAND's planning process as “industry best practice”. The Council has recommended a similar approach be adopted for the entire growth area, which will become home to about 30,000 people over the next decade.
